In a 2014 interview, Tom Keifer shared that Gene Simmons of Kiss had tried to get them signed with PolyGram, a plan that hadn’t worked out. It wasn’t until Jon Bon Jovi saw them at the Empire Rock Club in Philadelphia that Cinderella would eventually sign with the Mercury/Polygram Records record label.
