Ladies and Gentlemen we’d like to introduce you to one of our very cool little partners! Rics Vintage Guitars.

We love old school cool and loud Rock ‘n’ Roll Music … and what better way to do this on Guitars from back in the day.

Ric touched base a while back and we were left drooling at some of the very cool Guitars he had on hand… after a few conversations we couldn’t help but offer to give him a plug and list a few of his Guitars on our website to help get the word out again.

Owner Ric Zandvleit first started buying and selling guitars when with a secondhand business in Perth back in the 80’s.

“We only bought the odd guitar every now and then and in those days there wasn’t much ‘vintage’ around especially in Perth.

Then in 1999 we started to do the business as “Rics Vintage Guitars”  and registered the domain and website, then started to buy more and more including used/secondhand and vintage guitars both from here in Australia and Overseas. Those early days saw quite a varied type of guitar being more readily available from early 60’s to 90’s gear.

We still today take consignment guitars from all over Australia.

Having started the website and working just from home, an opportunity came to start a shop in Fremantle very early on in the 2000’s. This was in quarry street Fremantle.

Business from there took off and 21 years later were still here, well not in the shop anymore but purely on the internet.

But as business starts to grow again I think we might look at another shopfront as well.

Clients have included legendary guitarist Hank Marvin,  Ric Springfield, Doug Figer from THE KNACK and Mark McEntee from the Divinyls to name a few.

Were now building our reputation once more with our previous clients and many new ones as well, and to build our business again as the “Number 1 Vintage Guitar Dealer” in Australia”

Jukebox Saturday Night love the stock Ric has on hand so much, we’re listing a few of his latest and greatest on our website as well!
