ANOTHER GREAT COLLECTORS GUITAR AS SUPPLIED BY RICS’ VINTAGE GUITARS
Oh Yeah, used and loved. Let’s face it… we’re all that way these days, but that’s what makes us special. Nothing can replace time and experiences and this Classic Guitar has it in spades!
Just arrived is a Cool Fender Musicmaster dated 1960/61 from it’s serial.
It’s in that burst red finish rather than a mono colour that makes it pop as well!
The fretboard of course is a Brazilian rosewood slab board and has the desired clay dot inlays. All pot’s, capacitor, saddles and tuners are original. No changed parts. Pickguard is still nice and white as can be seen in the pics. Surface rust on the tuners and saddles truly give it that vintage look. The players that used these are Mickey “Dean Ween” Melchiondo of Ween, Dweezil Zappa and Liz Phair – even Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn were said to use the Musicmasters early in their career. The case is an old one that has seen better days as well so could really now use a new case. These early Musicmasters have always been highly playable and have always had a great sound to them of which this one is of no exception. Overall in VGC and has lots of wear and chips in the finish etc. Cool.!
We understand buying a vintage guitar can be a big investment so if you want to reach out to Ric directly to chat about his stock… just make sure he knows that Jukebox Saturday Night sent you there 🙂
